Chris is an internationally recognised automotive artist known for his distinctive fusion of precision draftsmanship, painterly expression and the poetic use of vintage found materials. His work occupies a unique space where engineering meets memory — layering nostalgic machinery with geometric structures, architectural forms and carefully sourced paper ephemera to evoke movement, time and the tactile beauty of age.

Each piece begins with hours of research, drawing and careful composition - where every detail, from the glint of chrome to the patina of paper, is deliberate. Working predominantly in mixed media, Chris’s practice re-purposes antique documents, ledgers, maps and contemporary textures into vivid, collage-based surfaces that host exquisitely painted renderings of classic vehicles. His aim is not only to depict machines but to suggest the journeys, lives and stories that have surrounded them.
