A touch of style, a pop of colour and the perfect finishing touch
Unique Hand-Sewn Silk Pocket Squares Made in England
Dressing for the Chelsea Flower Show
The Chelsea Flower Show returns to the Royal Hospital Chelsea between 21st and 25th May to bring us amazing garden design and gorgeous floral displays as the show has done since 1912. As the pinnacle of horticultural excellence, it is very popular and visitors include the Royal Family as well as many other famous faces.
There is no official dress code but looking your best and putting on a display is encouraged. If you are lucky enough to attend the Charity Gala Preview on the Monday evening, then a suit should be worn. Outside of this, smart casual is recommended; either a polo shirt or collared shirt with a pair of chinos and a lightweight jacket or blazer is a perfect look.
To complement the wonderful plant and floral colour on show in the 34 gardens and many other inspiring displays, a silk pocket square makes for the ideal finishing touch to a suit or jacket. Otway & Orford have shortlisted below some luxury silk pocket squares with beautiful designs and colours that will put you in the running to win Chelsea Gold for your top pocket display.
Very much in the spirit of the Chelsea Flower Show, a number of our men's pocket squares echo the natural world. We have two paisley pocket square designs, ‘Kaleidoscope’ and ‘Labyrinth’ in a selection of colours, which always bring the floral world to mind. The ‘Millefiori’ pocket squares with their repeat pattern design, named after the technique of the same name that produces small flower-like decoration on glassware, also tap into the floral vein. Finally, our ‘Motif’ repeat pattern silk pocket squares with a lovely leaf design salute the unsung heroes that are the trees, playing their part in the show gardens.
