Unique Hand-Sewn Silk Pocket Squares Made in England
FA Cup Final: Winning in Style
3pm on Saturday 25th May sees the final of this season's FA Cup competition, between Manchester City and Manchester United. These two great clubs, both previous winners of the beautiful FA Cup designed by Fattorini & Sons back in 1911, combined with Wembley Stadium bring back scores of memories of finals past. Many of the flashbacks involve old Wembley with its iconic Twin Towers.
Otway & Orford, names which bring to mind an old-fashioned forward pairing, love the FA Cup Final and are prepared for the occasion with two football design silk pocket squares, 'The Beautiful Game' and 'Corner Kick'. We collaborated with artists Paine Proffitt and Julia Tanner on these two men's pocket squares. Paine's original painting used for 'The Beautiful Game' is set at old Wembley and celebrates nostalgia for the game. The fact that our pocket squares are produced in Macclesfield only seems to feed the sense of nostalgia.
Anyway, here's to a classic FA Cup Final in the best traditions of the competition and may the winning Manchester team win in style!
