A touch of style, a pop of colour and the perfect finishing touch
Unique Hand-Sewn Silk Pocket Squares Made in England
Be King of the Pocket Squares with 'Break Away'
The 2024 Tour de France starts on Saturday 29th June in Florence, the first Grand Départ in Italy but the 26th start outside of France. The finale on Sunday 21st July will be in Nice, the very first time that the race will finish anywhere apart from Paris, due to the Olympic and Paralympic Games taking place in the capital.
The scale of the most famous Grand Tour is always staggering. During the three weeks of the Tour de France, the 176 riders will cover 3498 km in 21 stages across 4 countries and 30 departments within France. This will include four mountain ranges, with the ‘roof’ of the Tour being 2802 m above sea level at the Bonette Pass in the Alps. For the overall winner, a (well-deserved) prize pot of € 500,000 awaits.
There is an easier way to experience the Tour de France, with Otway & Orford’s Grand Tour cycling pocket square, ‘Break Away’. Created with artist John Ketchell, this striking silk pocket square captures the drama of a break away from the peleton by the leading riders. Wearing it may not make you ‘King of the Mountains’ but you’ll certainly be ‘King of the Pocket Squares’.
