Dorus Brekelmans

Otway & Orford are proud to collaborate with Dutch artist Dorus Brekelmans on our stylish and unique golf silk pocket square, ‘Golf Swing’.

Dorus’ work is figurative and covers a variety of subjects, often with realism as the start point, but he describes himself rather as an impressionist. Paint is applied spontaneously, and often expressively, with brushes or with a palette knife, perfect for capturing a sense of movement especially in sporting subjects. Colours are always bright and positive.

Dorus’ original artwork was created in oil on panel and inspired by that split second of excited anticipation just before the explosive swing through the ball.
